Sledding fun

New years day we went sledding with my brother and sister-in-law, her little sis, and our friends Chris and Mindy. Eli fell asleep on the drive, so he slept in the car until we were almost wore out. He woke up in time to get a few tries at it with dad. He wasn't too sure he liked it but sometimes he would laugh and seemed to have fun.

Well another Christmas has come and gone. Eli got an indoor basketball banker from Santa. He loves it, but it does take up some room. My parents, brother and sis-in-law and Will's sister and kids came up Christmas morning to open presents and have my "traditional" eggnog pancake breakfast. Eli loved unwrapping presents. He didn't care what was in them or if they were his all he wanted was the PAPER! It was a really fun day!

Big Helper...

My favorite thing about this time of the year is BAKING! (it's not much wonder why I gain at least five pounds every winter :)) But this year was more fun than ever since I had a big helper. Here are some pictures of him helping \with the flour...
